Puss, not too surprisingly, doesn't enjoy the kittens. After all, she lived with Cleo for sixteen years and just tolerated her. She's not eating very well. When I take the kittens to the vet for their shots, I ask about Cyproheptadine for Puss (also known as Periactin), and the vet says no problem. They start her at half a 4 mg pill twice a day, but since I don't feed her at night (the kittens would eat it), I only give her half a pill once a day — but it works; she's eating again. |
