SEB Tastes Bad?

WooHoo! Yesterday Cleo managed to keep what little she ate down.

She almost inhaled her tuna (along with the Winstrol, Tumil-K, and Reglan) this morning. She wasn't quite as enthusiastic about the tuna with the Slippery Elm Bark (SEB) an hour later, but I'm beginning to think that she just doesn't like the taste of SEB.

At some point last night apparently she got into the garbage. I found an apple core, of all things, on the floor this morning. It wasn't eaten, but I'm pretty sure that Puss doesn't forage in the garbage.

I am still losing sleep. This morning it was a nightmare that she had lost the use of her hind legs totally and gone blind in one eye. Then when I woke up, I thought I heard her throwing up, but I wasn't sure. Now I just think that what I heard was her getting into the garbage.

She has been so loving lately. After her second feeding this morning, she came and jumped up on my lap as I was working on the computer, and stayed purring a few minutes. Then she got down and curled up next to my chair.

I cannot make up my mind about taking her to the Internist. She seems to be doing better the last few days, and I plan to give her fluids every day for the next few days (that's the plan, anyway). The hope is that the fluids will help flush the toxins from her system, and she'll feel a lot better soon.

I got an email from someone later today urging me to take Cleo to the Internist, that she had done the same with her cat and it was well worth the money. So I made an appointment for next Tuesday.
