Puss has made it through another vacation (on our parts, that is). In general she's doing well. Most days she eats pretty well. When she doesn't eat well, it's usually because she's working on a hair ball. She never had a hair ball in her life until the last couple of years, but she sure is making up for lost time now. She surprised me by coming out to lay in my lap, as I sat in the recliner, a couple of times last week. She hasn't done that in months. I thought maybe she did it before because it was cold out, but considering it's now summer in Texas, I know that's not the reason. She purrs a LOT now. I'm not sure why. I know cats purr when they don't feel well, a sort of self-healing process. I don't think that's the case here. I can't really explain it, tho.
