SEB in Butter
Cleo's plays with meowie wowie
This morning we tried something new, which seemed to work. I gave Cleo her SEB in a small pat of butter. It seemed to work; she ate it right down.
When I gave her some more later in the day, she didn't do much more than give it a lick or two. So I just put a tiny bit of tuna in it, and she ate it right up.
She did throw up at some point last night. I think it may have been the treats I gave her after the sub-q, because they have a very distinctive color.
I am now convinced that the sub-q's are making the difference between life and death for Cleo. She's eating without too much persuasion and she's much livelier. Last night she decided she wanted something on our coffee table. So she stretched out from our couch and got her front paws onto the table. She stayed stretched out that way quite some time, little nose twitching. When she began to gather herself to jump onto the table, I had to tell her no!
