We try Rescue Remedy

Alive or not?
Alive or not?

Today Cleo seemed off. Didn't want to eat on and off. She's taken to laying her her bed, half in the bed, half on the floor. It looks so uncomfortable, but she's clearly comfortable. I've got to take the bag out and see if she'll still lay in the bed.

Sometimes she curls up in it. It may be just a little too small for her, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I wasn't even sure she would use.

I tried the Rescue Remedy on her tonight before her fluids. It's a Bach flower essence; they're used for behavior modification (nervousness, aggression, etc.). I gave her a drop in her food beforehand, massaged a drop into her head before I heated the fluids, and then massaged another drop into her head right before giving her the fluids.

Fluids did indeed go very smoothly, literally and figuratively. The flow was great and it was over with in a couple of minutes. No meowing or growling, and she didn't even flinch when I stuck her or started the flow. Of course, Lloyd was back and helping by holding her. Perhaps she just felt resistance was futile.

Tomorrow will be the real test of whether or not the Rescue Remedy does anything or not. If it does, I want to try out some other flower essences on Puss, for her nervousness.
