Cleo Tries Avo-Cat

I haven't been writing. Cleo's been doing so well! She looks good, she's more active, she's eating well.

On Wednesday, the 26th, I started mixing her regular junkfood (9 Lives Select) with Avo-Cat Ocean flavor. Much to my surprise, she didn't turn up her nose at it, although she did need some persuasion to eat. By Thursday, I was giving her about half 9 Lives and half Avo-Cat, and she was eating without any prompting at all. I did notice that her stools seem softer again.

However, she did throw up Thursday night — and a little bit this morning, too. Still, it's the first time in a week; it's been three months since we've gone that long without any vomiting.

It's really hard to pinpoint what caused her to throw up:

• Is it the new food?
• Is it the loose stools?
• Did she just eat too much?

We finished off the Avo-Cat, so I started mixing PetGuard Premium Seafood, Chicken & Liver in with her 9 Lives. She didn't turn her nose up at that, either — wonder of wonders! She ate really well all day until this evening, when all of the sudden she didn't want to eat at all.
