Another internist visit

Cleo went to the vet today; the first time in three weeks. We really thought she may have gained some weight — she's sure eating enough! — but it turns out that she didn't. She didn't lose any weight, though, so that's a good thing, too.

The vet didn't really have a whole lot to say. We'll continue on with the dexamethasone, and she'll see her back in a month. She did write me a prescription, so I can have it filled at a regular pharmacy.

Looking back through old vet bills, I discovered something really interesting. When we took Cleo into the Vet back in December, they put her on a week of Reglan with Dexamethasone. I didn't remember that — I just remembered that she seemed to respond to the Reglan really well at first. But I now I know that what she was really responding to was the Dexamethasone. Why didn't the vet pick up on that then?

Unfortunately, Cleo threw up a large amount again tonight.
