A New Cat
Puss lays on my back
Puss is the only cat who's ever done this: she loves to lay on my back.
It's really the oddest thing. I was so worried about her last month; it was the first time I really knew she was sick. A lot of people thought I was blowing things out of proportion, but the truth is a cat with CRF who stops eating can go downhill very quickly.
But now she hides much less. She lays openly on our bed, and sleeps on top of the couch like she used to. She's even slept next to the kittens. Not of her choosing, of course, and if they get too close she hisses and swats at them. But she stands her ground more often.
I think it's because she just feels better. Or maybe the stuff from the holistic vet is finally beginning to kick in, too. Who knows? I'm just so happy to see her out again. It only took four months!
