As recommended, I took Puss in for another CBC. We also did a urinalysis (I had to leave her), a culture, and an x-ray. The x-ray ruled out both bladder and kidney stones, although the vet thought there was a slight calcification of the kidneys. Her ALT had fallen back into a normal range, but her Phosphorus is up to 5.6 again! And her Creatinine is up to 4.7. Her Calcium continues to rise (11.8), and for the first time her T4 is elevated. I'm kind of shocked by the T4 (which the vet totally missed), as she's completely asymptomatic of hyper-thyroidism. The vet thinks it's a false reading, and suggests that we redo it in a month. Puss is still eating, but she's refusing all canned food. Why is it every time I take her in for acupuncture she stops eating? |
