When my cat Cleo was diagnosed with CRF (chronic renal failure) in May 2000, I began to keep an online journal on her. This allowed me to keep track of what she was eating, what medications she was getting, when she vomited, etc. It also was cathartic for me. In August 2000, my other cat, Puss, was also diagnosed with CRF. Cleo lost her battle in April 2001, but she had almost 11 months of good quality life after her diagnosis. She was 16.
