Vet Questions (6/1) I have a lot of questions for the vet.
Friskies Senior Chicken & Tuna (6/2) Friskies Senior Chicken & Tuna is a hit with Cleo, who still needs to be hand fed.
Raising Food (6/3) Supposedly this will help reduce some of the stomach acid.
Appetite Dwindles (6/4) Cleo eats well in the morning, then less and less as the day goes on.
Nutro Max Senior (6/5) Neither Puss nor Cleo likes this.
Cleo Stretches (6/6) She seems a bit more like her normal self, laying on me and stretching out.
New Food Bowl & Litter Box (6/7) Maybe a new food bowl and litter box (shallower) will make Cleo's life easier.
Eating off a Fork (6/11) Cleo will eat more if I hand feed her with a fork (but not a spoon).
Pepcid is Tried (6/12) Pepcid is supposed to help neutralize stomach acid. Unfortunately, Cleo still throws up.
A Bad Day (6/13) Cleo throws up several times; lays under the coffee table.
Pepcid Bad (6/14) Could Pepcid be causing Cleo to feel so bad?
Cleo Gets Her First SubQ (6/16) I take her to the vet so they can show me how to do it.
Cleo Gets SEB (6/17) I try Slippery Elm Bark (SEB) to quiet her stomach; it doesn't seem to hurt.
Cleo Gets SubQs at Home (6/18) And it doesn't go very well; I'm in tears.
Does Weather Make a Difference (6/19) Cleo always seems to feel worse when the weather is bad.
Cleo Eats! (6/20) Despite throwing up overnight, Cleo is hungry!
20 x 1 Needle (6/21) Fluids go better with a smaller needle, and Cleo does eat afterwards.
Daily Fluids (6/22) Fluids seem to be helping, so we plan to go daily.
SEB Tastes Bad? (6/23) Cleo doesn't seem to like the taste of SEB. I make an appointment with an Internist for her.
SEB in Butter (6/24) Seems to help the "medicine" go down. Cleo seems better, which I attribute to the fluids.
Laxatone = Big Poop (6/25) After giving Laxatone, Cleo has a really big poop.
