All my animals love their beds, which is a little ironic, since my first two cats wouldn’t have anything to do with a bed. We have a nice outdoor bed (okay, so it’s really a pillow) that I bought a long time ago for the boys. The boys loved it, and for a long time it lived indoors on the living room floor. I tried it in various positions outside, but they didn’t like it as much out there. The dogs, however, seem to really enjoy it.

Chester, dead to the world

You would think it’s the middle of summer the way these dogs are laying around, wouldn’t you? Not a nice fall day.
Below is our “place”, which is one of those raised outdoor beds. Supposedly it keeps them cooler by allowing air to circulate under it. This is what we call their “place”. If Chester starts to bark, for instance, then I have them both go to their “place” & sit. This actually works fairly well to keep the barking down, I’ve found.
