We start out Gizmo's session with a few "gimme fives" to loosen him up.

Then we moved on to "sitting pretties". Gizmo's got it now! Okay, so we have a little work to do on those paws, but I'm still really proud of him. We've been able to generalize it, too. I managed to get him to do several out in the living room on the couch, just using my finger and no clicker.

Simba works on stay first. I just have him sit on his stool, and rain treats on him.

Then it's on to his "gimme five". Once he got it, he's actually much better than Gizmo at it. He willing lays his entire paw on my palm, as you can see. Gizmo just barely swipes my palm with his paw.

Simba, I think, will be able to learn to shake hands. I'm sure Gimzo can learn it too, but it will take more work. Simba is just more laid back, while Gizmo generally seems to catch on to things quicker.

After our gimme fives, we work just a bit on sitting pretty. He's on the verge of getting it, I think.
