We put one of the branches we trimmed from our Magnolia tree in the boys' kennel. They think it's great fun to hide behind, although they don't seem to want to scratch it. We also have a couple of cedar branches in there; those they love to scratch. I don't think two cats have ever had so many different scratching surfaces! 
While the boys do spend more time apart these days, they still do love to cuddle up together. Bedtime has begun to be a bit of a trial, though. Simba has a habit of running Giz off the bed, even though he doesn't want to sleep there himself. It's gotten so bad that Simba can just walk into the room, and poor Giz leaps off the bed.  |
