It was, it seems, the summer of the chameleon. I've wondered how the boys get a hold of these fellows, since they're so fast. Both Simba and Gizmo brought in chameleons on various occasions. I managed to rescue three of them; I didn't know they were chameleons until I took them outside and they started to turn green! 
I've actually wondered if it was the same chameleon brought in all three times . . . 
There are still moments of peace, when Simba deigns to allow Gizmo to curl up with him.  |
