I have been frequenting the About Cats forum for quite some time. If you love cats, it's a great place to hang out. They have what's called a catswap a couple of times a year. No, no cats are exchanged. But you get a partner, and you mail them all sorts of stuff for their cats. The box arrives! 
Simba is very intrigued with smelling the box — not to mention the contents. 
The loot! 
No, I am not force feeding Gizmo a catnip cigar. I held it up, and he immediately claimed it for himself. 
Simba enjoys a cigar, too. 
Gizmo claims the next toy: a catnip sock. 
Notice the balls next to Gizmo. Surprisingly, Simba is the one who is having great fun with these. I think they're just the right weight (read: light) to bat around. I keep hearing some jingling occasionally. Jenn, my parnter, was particularly interested in getting something for Puss, which is a toughie — there isn't a whole lot that Puss likes. But she does enjoy a good catnip toy. About once a day or so she will wander around the house in search of the boys' catnip toys. Then she'll lick it and lay by it for a while. She hasn't discovered the great new loot yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. |
