We had an Austin About Cats forum meeting: another Austin forum member, Heidi, and Marge (above) from Houston, got together with us.

Simba was on his best behavior and proved that he really does like people.

I warned her about his hair fetish . . .

I put the boys through their paces, much to everyone's delight. I wowed them when I showed them how easy it is to get them into their carriers (getting Gizmo out is another story).

They might never have seen Gizmo if it wasn't for clicker training, altho Marge did manage to actually pet him.

Mystique was shy at first, but warmed up a tiny bit toward the end.

Stormy & Gwen (?) spent their time hiding from us.

Cami (?) also wanted nothing to do with us.

While Chloe came over to me initially, I made the foolish attempt of trying to pet her after she licked me a few times. Really, most dogs like me! But she went out of her way to avoid me after that.

Until Mystique began to get brave . . . the minute Chloe saw me about to pet Mystique, she had to claim me. Still, she showed a definite preference to Marge over me.
