We bought this larger size catbed when we could see that they were outgrowing the small one. I put it on a shelf by our front window originally, but they would almost never use it. Finally I put it on top of the couch in our family room. Gizmo has claimed it for his own.

Gizmo likes to get one of his snake-like toys in his mouth, then run off to some place with me running behind. A corner near our office is a favorite place; recently he's decided that the bath mat in our bathroom is another good place.

He also tries to run off with them into the kennel, and one day he succeeded! I also leave fur balls hidden in different areas of the house occasionally, and he has a habit now of taking them out into the kennel with him, and then batting them outside the kennel.

He just loves to play — more than food. Every time one of us heads to the family room, he's racing ahead of us, hanging onto his toy drawer. Sometimes I ask him to pick out the toy he wants to play with, and he does. At least he paws at a toy!
