Gizmo has definitely slowed down. He's still our energizer bunny; still loves to play — but it can be a little harder to get him to play these days. Things he used to go nuts over don't always get him going. I'm constantly coming up with new ways to use old toys to keep him interested. Usually all it takes is putting the toy behind a piece of furniture we haven't used before. 
He loves his stool, though. He's smart, too. He's learned that if he comes and gets onto his stool while I'm getting Puss's food ready, he gets a few tidbits as a snack. If I don't give him something, he'll head butt me — really in the butt! — or he'll reach out a paw and gently remind me that he's waiting.  |
