Simba streeeeeeetches out on the shelf.

Laid back Simba

Once Simba learned the "down" command, it's all he wanted to do.

In general he's a pretty laid back fellow. When I take him for walks, if I don't want him going somewhere, I just pick him up and point him in a different direction. He might try to go back once or twice, but usually he complies with our wishes.

I was taking him for a walk one day, when all of the sudden he tensed. I looked up, and saw a large black dog standing twenty feet away from us.

No time to think, I just scooped him up and quickly walked back to our porch. Unfortunately, Gizmo was very agitated, and Simba picked up on it — he didn't want to go back inside.

I always put out a crate when I take them for walks, to give them a safe place to head to. But he didn't want to go in the crate, either.

The second time I picked him up I was able to get him back inside.

Bagged Simba

Although laid back, he's curious, like most cats. No bag or box is safe from him.

He also likes to make himself comfortable, as he's doing below. He is a bully, though. Most of the time, if Gizmo is laying on this bed, he'll jump him and run him off — even if he doesn't want to lay in it himself.
