This is the quintessential Simba. This guy sure knows how to make himself at home, don't you think? The sleeping on my pillow thing wasn't a fluke. He is now sleeping on my pillow on a regular basis. Being that he weighs fifteen pounds, he gets most of the pillow. Yet I actually find it mostly easier to sleep with him on my pillow than with him glommed onto my legs. It will make it terribly difficult when he's gone someday, as he inevitably will be. Hopefully that day is far, far in the future. 
Simba love active tricks; he loves to jump over hurdles. One of his favorite things at the moment is to jump over two hurdles & up onto the recliner. I love how the picture above makes him look suspended in air. The picture below shows what a looooooong cat he is. He's also got very long back legs. At his vet checkup, when the nurse brought him into the back to be weighed, I could hear them exclaiming about how big he is. He's certainly the biggest cat I've ever shared my home with.  |
